Approved by unanimous vote of CSF Board of Directors – November 20, 2006
Mission:
Uniting private citizens and organizations with the goal to enhance the Coyle School District and foster a better future for the children of Coyle, Langston and Meridian.
Vision:
To assist the Coyle School District to become recognized as the benchmark for similar school districts to surpass;
To foster a sense of pride and school spirit among the students, teachers, administrators and community that the Coyle School District serves;
To encourage Coyle Public Schools teachers and administrators to be innovative and recognized among their peers as best in our state;
And to provide a vehicle for Coyle students to expand and further their education by endowing funds for scholarships and grants.
Objectives:
To maintain and follow an updated 3 year work plan with established times to complete each item with the goals to benefit the Coyle School District.
To have $300,000 in endowed funds for scholarships and grants by the year 2020 (Vision 2020 Campaign).
Projects:
The Coyle School Foundation encourage projects which emphasize new approaches to teaching and innovative programs which stimulate thought and expand the basic curriculum. Projects to be funded by the foundation can be submitted by teachers or administration. Foundation Grants are awarded for instructional and academic programs, materials, and facility improvements needed for innovative ventures for the school system.
Beneficiaries:
Students benefit from projects that emphasize new approaches to teaching and innovative programs which stimulate thought and expand the current curriculum; as well as scholarships to help students continue their education.
Teachers benefit because the ideas that before were set aside for lack of funds, can now be implemented. Creative programs that enhance the learning experience will be encouraged and rewarded.
Our communities benefit by having a top quality educational system, which impacts the life of the communities. |
